We’re pleased to announce that Innov8tif Solutions will be taking the stage at the IEEE Symposium on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (SASSP) 2025, which will be held in Block E at University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) on the 24th of July 2025.
Organised by the Faculty of Engineering and Green Technology (FEGT) of UTAR and IEEE Signal Processing Society Malaysia, the 13th Symposium on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing will be a FREE event open to all — including students, academic & industry participants, and non-IEEE members.
This annual symposium will bring together global thought leaders from diverse fields, such as artificial intelligence, biometrics, speech, and signal processing — to focus on real-world applications across industries. The digital identity space will only continue to grow in complexity, and Innov8tif is proud to contribute to the global conversation on digital trust.
Featured Session: AI-Powered Identity Verification in EMAS eKYC
As one of the keynote sessions during this event, Innov8tif will present a session titled:
“AI-Powered Identity Verification in EMAS eKYC: Bridging Biometrics, Signal Processing, and Real-World Security”.
Our session will touch on Innov8tif’s proprietary identity verification platform, EMAS eKYC, and how it utilises artificial intelligence and signal processing to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable onboarding for government and enterprise ecosystems. Drawing from real-world implementations across Southeast Asia, the talk will demonstrate how EMAS eKYC combines facial recognition, liveness detection, and document authenticity checks to meet ever-evolving regulatory and fraud prevention demands.
The session will be delivered by Nathan Cheong Yuen Kiat, Innov8tif’s Head of Product Management (AI & eKYC), who brings over a decade of hands-on experience in digital identity technologies. Backed by a strong research background and several eKYC-related patents, Nathan will highlight how the platform balances modern signal processing techniques with practical deployment at scale.
Why This Matters
Digital services are becoming more interconnected by the day and the ability to verify identities securely and seamlessly is now a critical concern. SASSP 2025 provides a platform to share how emerging technologies like EMAS eKYC are enabling real-world security and improving user experience in regulated environments such as banking, fintech, and government digital services.
We invite you to join the conversation at SASSP 2025 and discover how modern technologies and methodologies are redefining the future of digital trust. See you there!
